Cancelation | Modifications | Replacement | Refund | No Show Policy :

General Cancelation Policies

1) We strictly enforce a 24-hour prior cancellation and modification policy for all standard babysitting reservations. For last-minute and sudden changes in your pre-booked and paid reservation, we will charge a USD20,= fee to change your reservation. We charge the USD 20.00 of the reservation change upfront and it’s not refundable should we not be able to change your reservation due to the non-availability of a babysitter for that period.

2) If the reservation is canceled with less than 24 hours notice, the Client will be billed for the entire booking. If you return early before the completion of the service hours paid, you agree that you have forfeited those hours on your own will by returning early. You can not request the sitter to come the next day or any other day earlier or to stay later to compensate for the time you have forfeited.

3) Our babysitters must be treated with respect and kindness at all times. Should you or your kids disrespect or mistreat our babysitter you will be notified via email of the incident. If your kids do not want to obey or misbehave and do not follow orders from our babysitter you will be notified via e-mail or text message. If the behavior does not change our Babysitter has the right to stop giving the service for security reasons for her well-being and cancel the babysitting fully without any refund to you as the customer. 

4) Ad hoc cancellations or modifications to your babysitting booking or service time frame are not guaranteed to be acknowledged. Unfortunately, they won’t be honored for refunds if we cannot meet your request to change or cancel your booking. For Changes, we charge USD 20.00 upfront and are non-refundable without any guarantee that the change will succeed. 

5) The Babysitting Service will be provided as per booked reservation. If the reservation was made for 1 child 2 children or 3 children and any change is not as described in the reservation, this will be considered a breach of contract by you who requested the service. In such a case, the service can be canceled immediately by the sitter with no right to get a refund for you.  You accept the cancelation willingly and freely, also accepting that you forfeit the right to issue a chargeback for service not rendered.

6) If your selected babysitter isn’t available at the time of your Booking for the service or on the day of the babysitting service, you agree and accept the next available babysitter that is available. You acknowledge and agree for a replacement to be sent to ensure the service is provided. If a replacement cannot be found for the service, we will refund your payment for the service that was not provided.

7) It’s ultimately the responsibility of the parents who request the service to inform via e-mail or WhatsApp their room number for the sitter to be on time. The babysitter will be always waiting in the lobby for you to come and escort the sitter to the room. If you don’t provide us your room number and a contact number and for this reason, our babysitter arrives late for the service you can’t cancel the service nor request a refund.

8) Hereby, you agree to have read our terms and conditions together with our general cancelation policy which you shall abide by freely, understanding that you forfeit the right to issue a chargeback should you breach any clause in our rules and regulations together with our terms and conditions.

Release of Liability

I agree, in taking advantage of “Pavia Party & Baby Equipment Rental Babysitting Services,” as a babysitting referral service of Oranjestad, Aruba, to release and hold harmless “Pavia Party & Baby Equipment Rental Babysitting Services,” from any claims, demands, suits, cost, and charges in connection with or arising out of the child care service, including but not limited to bodily harm, injury to a child(ren), property damage, except only for loss, harms, or injury occasioned by gross negligence or intentional misconduct by “Pavia Party & Baby Equipment Rental Babysitting Services”  In the case of a medical emergency, I understand that the service will act on my behalf if attempts have been made to contact me and I wasn’t available.
